IELTS is an International English Language Testing System which is designed to work, study, or migrate to a country, where English is the native language. It was established in 1989 and is one of the major English language tests in the world. This is the test which access the ability to listen, read write and speak in English. IELTS is developed to provide a fair and accurate assessment of English language proficiency.

There are two different IELTS modules:

General Training

The Listening, Reading, Writing is attempted by the student on the same day, which is a 2 hours 45 minutes, pen, and paper-based test.

The speaking test is taken face to face by a certified IELTS examiner. It is an Internationally relevant test as both British and American spelling are accepted.

Has fully operational command of the language.

8. VERY GOOD USER ::

Has full command of language with unsystematic accuracies.

7. GOOD USER ::

Has command but with occasional inaccuracies and misunderstandings.

6. COMPETENT USER ::

Has general effective command of the language. Can use and understand fairly.

5. MODEST USER ::

Has partial command of the language, coping with overall meaning in most situations, though likely to make many mistakes.

4. LIMITED USER ::

Basic competence is limited to familiar situations. Has frequent problems in understanding and expression.

3. EXREMELY LIMITED USER ::

Conveys and understands only general meaning in very familiar situations. Frequent break downs in communication occurs.

2. INTERMITTENT USER ::

No real communication is possible except for the most basic information using isolated words.

1. NON USER ::

Essentially has no ability to use the language beyond possibly of few isolated words.
